We are looking for a mutually beneficial house sitting situation starting immediately.
The preferred location of your property is Southern or Central California, as our family, business base, and the Pacific Ocean reside there. However, we would consider properties located in the mountains of Colorado, the Las Vegas area, and the Phoenix-Scottsdale, Arizona vicinity. Other locations will be considered, on a case by case basis.
Estates, single family homes, condominiums, and townhomes are all candidates for house sitting. Your immediate property should not be under construction. If your property is for sale, we are happy to act as a liaison between your residence, and the visiting brokers and clients. We can help prepare your home with the correct ambient lighting, atmosphere, and mood. We can even have fresh coffee waiting! During open-houses, we are more than happy to spend the day away from your showcase. We are open to schedules and care taking opportunities as short as one month.
During our stay at your home we will be happy to provide basic services such as mail receiving and forwarding, utility bill payments, keeping a watchful eye on landscapers, pool or maintenance contractors, cleaning and upkeep, and care-taking your cat, small dog, or visiting with your horses. Situations with multiple pets and large dogs might not be optimal.
There are other opportunities that may not be suitable for our talents. We are not looking to act as live in managers for apartments for example. If you have additional family members that will reside at the property while you are away we would be happy to visit and interact, share meals and conversation, and provide company. We are unable to accept the responsibility of caring for a person that can not care for themselves. A smoke free environment would be best.
